Gode gode hoye gareebi kaprhe leeran leeran hon;
Tan rogi na kulli chhappar rulde vaang fakeeran hon. Na koi hove sangi sathi na hi hove yaar koi; Vich duniyan de kallamkalla na hove gamkhaar koi. Par je hove gursikh poora ang sang vekhe eh nirankar; Kahe avtar oh raja jag da main javan uston balihaar. |

One may be extremely poor and he may be in rags;
One may be afflicted with disease, have no shelter and may wander in despair like beggars; One may not have any friend, comrade or companion; One may be all alone in the world and have none to share his grief. But if he is a perfect disciple of the True Master, he finds the Formless God always with him; Avtar says, he is the king of the world and I adore and glorify him. |
Meaning
God is always with them who become His true devotees. One may be extremely poor and he may be in rags. One may be afflicted with disease, have no shelter and may wander in despair like beggars. One may not have any friend, comrade or companion. One may be all alone in the world and have none to share his grief. But if he is a perfect disciple of the True Master, he finds the Formless God always with him. Here Baba Avtar Singh ji says, such person is the king of the world and I adore and glorify him.
